Cursó estudios en el Instituto Superior de Arte de La Habana. Ha expuesto en España, Estados Unidos, Líbano, Francia, Honduras y Suiza. ABEL BARROSO (Pinar del Río, 1971)
Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1995. Expone regularmente en galerías de los Estados Unidos y también ha expuesto en Canadá, México, Cuba y varios países de Europa. En 1997, recibió una beca de la Banff Centre for the Arts de Canadá y en el mismo año participó en la Art in Residence de Art in General y el Bronx Council of the Arts de New York, EUA.
Graduated from the Higher Institute of Arts, 1995. He exhibits regularly in numerous galleries in the United States and has exhibited his work in Canada, Mexico and Europe. AGUSTIN BEJARANO (Camaguey, 1964)
Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1989. Ha expuesto en México, Japón, España, Bulgaria, Nicaragua, Martinica, los Estados Unidos, República Dominicana, Suiza y Cuba. En 2002 participa en la Feria ARCO, Madrid. Recibió, en 1995, el Premio de la IX Bienal de Grabado Latinoamericano y Caribeño de San Juan, Puerto Rico, y en 1997, el Gran Premio del Salón Nacional de Grabado, Centro Provincial de Artes Plásticas y Diseño, La Habana.

Graduada por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1992. Master of Fine Arts en The School of Art Institute, Chicago, obtenido como Beca de Mérito, en 1999. Ha realizado exposiciones y performances en diferentes países. Ha participado en las bienales de La Habana, Sao Paulo, Johannesburgo, Kassel y Kwangju. En el año 2000 obtuvieron el premio Fomento de las Artes, UNESCO. En el 2002, fueron acogidos como artistas en residencia en el Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Baltic, New Castle, Inglaterra.

Ha realizado exposiciones personales y colectivas en los Estados Unidos, España, Japón, Canadá, Italia, Suiza, Ecuador, Portugal, Inglaterra, y Cuba. En el año 2000 fue beneficiario del Cuban Artist Fund Grant, de New York.

RAÚL CORRAL (CORRALES) (Ciego de Ávila, 1925)
Graduado como Técnico Gráfico por la Escuela de Periodismo "Manuel Márquez Sterling" de La Habana, en 1959. Ha expuesto en Europa y Latinoamérica. Recibió el Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas, la Orden Félix Varela, y la Medalla Alejo Carpentier.

ZAYDA DEL RÍO (Guadalupe, Las Villas, 1954)
Graduada por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1987 y por la Ecole Beaux Arts, París, 1989. Ha expuesto sus obras en México, España, Francia, Italia, Brasil, Martinica, Japón y Cuba. Ha merecido, entre otros, la Medalla de Oro, Premio de Pintura de la Bienal del Cairo, Egipto, y el Premio de Pintura, Bienal Tenri, Japón, 1993.

JUAN ROBERTO DIAGO (La Habana, 1971)
Graduado de la Academia San Alejandro. Ha expuesto en numerosos países. Participó en el Primer Salón Nacional de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo en (1995); en la 47ma Bienal de Venecia (1997), en la Feria ARCO, Madrid, y en Art Chicago, (2003). En 1999, la fundación francesa Kikoïne le concedió el Premio Maratier, entregado por vez primera a un latinoamericano.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro. Has held exhibits in numerous countries around the world. He took part in first Hall of Contemporary Cuban Art (1995); the 47th Venice Biennial (1997); the ARCO Fair, Madrid, and Art Chicago, (2003). In 1999 he became the first Latin American recipient of the Maratier Award from the French Foundation Kikoïne.

ALBERTO DÍAZ (KORDA)(La Habana, 1928)
Concluyó estudios en la Havana Business Academy en 1950. Sus fotos han recorrido decenas de espacios en América, Europa y Asia. Es autor de varios volúmenes de y sobre fotografía. Ha recibido entre otros reconocimientos la Distinción por la Cultura Nacional y la Orden Félix Varela de Primer Grado que entrega el Consejo de Estado de la República de Cuba, en 1982 y 1994, respectivamente.
Graduated form the Havana Business Academy, 1950. His photographs have covered the world over. He is the author of a series of volumes on and of photography. He is considered one of the forerunners of contemporary Cuban photography. He received, among other recognition's the Award Palma de Plata to the best photojournalist of the year, Havana, 1959 and the Distinction for National Culture in 1982.

MARIO DÍAZ (Holguín, 1950)
Trabajó como fotógrafo del Ministerio de Cultura de 1979 a 1985. Ha impartido conferencias y talleres en Oaxaca y Minas Gerais. Dirigió la Fototeca de Cuba. Ha expuesto sus obras en México, Japón, Italia y los Estados Unidos y en otros países de América Latina y Europa.
From 1979 to 1985 he worked as photographer for the Ministry of Culture. He has lectured in workshops in Oaxaca and Minas Gerais. he directed La Fototeca de Cuba. He has exhibited in Mexico, Japan, Italy, and the United States.

CARLOS ESTÉVEZ (La Habana, 1969)
Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1992. Ha expuesto en México, España, Francia, China, Rusia, Portugal, Martinica, Brasil, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Noruega, Austria, Argentina y Suecia. Participó en la Séptima Bienal de La Habana, 2000. Recibió el Gran Premio Primer Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo, 1995 y el Premio UNESCO-ASCHERG, 1998. Fue acogido como artista en residencia en el Massachusetts College of Art de Boston, en 2002.

Ha participado en Subastas en las Casas Christie's y Sotheby's así como las Subastas de Gary Nader en enero del 2000. Ha recibido la Medalla por la Cultura Nacional y la Medalla Alejo Carpentier y el Primer Premio de la 11na. Bienal Internacional de Dibujo de Cleveland, 1993.

ANTONIO ELIGIO FERNÁNDEZ (TONEL) (La Habana, 1958)
Graduado de Historia del Arte por la Universidad de La Habana en 1982. Ha trabajado extensamente como curador y ha escrito ensayos sobre arte contemporáneo cubano y latinoamericano. Sus obras han sido expuestas en numerosos países, así como en las Bienales de São Paulo y La Habana. Obtuvo el premio de la crítica, sección cubana de la Asociación Internacional de Críticos de Arte (AICA) en 1991; fue acogido como artista en residencia en el Forum Ludwig para el Arte Internacional, Aquisgrán, Alemania, 1992. Ganó la beca de la Fundación John S. Guggenheim en 1995 y la otorgada por la Fundación Rockefeller en Humanidades, los Estados Unidos en 1997. Es profesor de la Universidad de Stanford.
Graduated from Art History at Havana University in 1982. He has worked as both a curator and writer and has written essays on contemporary Cuban and Latin American art. He has exhibited in the Havana and São Paulo Biennials, and in several other countries. Tonel was awarded the Art Critics prize by the Cuban Section of the International Art Critics Association (AICA) in 1991; he was also awarded a John S. Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship for painting and installation art in 1995 and a Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship in Humanities in 1997. He is currently professor at Stanford University.

JOSÉ ALBERTO FIGUEROA (La Habana, 1946)
Se inicia en la fotografía en los Estudios Korda, La Habana (1964-1968). Fotorreportero de la revista Cuba Internacional (1969-1976) y corresponsal de guerra en Angola (1982-1983). Miembro del jurado de admisión del III Coloquio Latinoamericano de Fotografía (La Habana, 1984) y del Premio Ensayo Fotográfico, Casa de las Américas (1998). Ha realizado más de 40 exposiciones personales en Cuba, los Estados Unidos, Francia, Alemania, Italia, España, entre otros países. Participó en el I, II y III Coloquio Latinoamericano de Fotografía, la I Bienal de La Habana (1984), y Shifting Tides, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, LACMA (2001). Su obra ha sido reproducida en numerosas publicaciones nacionales y extranjeras.

En 1976 culminó estudios en la Academia de San Alejandro y en el Instituto de Museología, La Habana, 1986. Ha expuesto en numerosos países y participado en varias ediciones de la Bienal de La Habana (1986, 1991 y 1997). Participó en el I Salón Nacional de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo,1995. Obtuvo la Medalla de Oro en el 49no Salón Internacional de Fotografía en Japón, 1989. En 1999 le fue otorgada una residencia artística en el Banff Center for the Arts, Alberta, Canadá. Posee la Distinción por la Cultura Nacional.

Ha obtenido becas de creación de la Academia de Beaux Arts de Paris y la DAAD, Gesamthoschule Kassel de Alemania. Obtuvo Premio en la IV Bienal Americana de Artes Gráficas del Museo de Arte Moderno de Cali, Colombia y en 1993 el Guggeenheim Foundation Fellowship de NY, Estados Unidos. Posee la medalla Alejo Carpentier.

Culminó estudios en la Academia de San Alejandro, en 1980. Es Miembro de la Asociación Internacional de Artistas Plásticos y Miembro de la Comisión sobre la Imagen Internacional de la Cultura. Ha expuesto en países de Europa y América. En el 2001 recibió la Orden por la Cultura Nacional.

Ha participado en los tres Salones de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo, 1995, 1998 y 2001, obteniendo Mención de Honor en el primero de estos. Participó en la cuarta y séptima Bienal de La Habana, 1991 y 2000.

MANUEL MENDIVE (La Habana, 1944)
Graduado de pintura y escultura por la Academia San Alejandro en 1963. Es miembro de la Asociación Internacional de Artistas Plásticos. Ha realizado numerosas exposiciones y performances por diferentes países de Europa, América, Asia y África. Ha recibido importantes premios y distinciones, entre los que se destacan, el Premio Internacional II Bienal de La Habana, 1986, el Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas, 2001; la Orden Caballero de las Artes y las Letras del Ministerio de Cultura y Francofonía de la República de Francia; la Medalla Alejo Carpentier y la Orden Félix Varela, ambas, del Consejo de Estado de la República de Cuba.

He took part in the 49th Venice Biennial, 2001 and was awarded the MTG at the International Triennial of Engraving Krakow, Poland.

CARLOS MONTES DE OCA (Camaguey, 1968)
Ha cursado talleres de grabado en el Instituto Superior de Arte, y en el Taller de Serigrafía René Portocarrero, La Habana. Su obra ha sido expuesta en Estados Unidos, México, Rumanía, Turquía, Brasil, Ecuador y Canadá, entre otros países. En 1993, participó en Drawing´93. Internacional Drawing Bienal Middlesbrough Fine Arts Museum, Cleveland, Gran Bretaña y en las tres ediciones del Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo, 1995, 1998 y 2001.
He has taken part in a number of workshops and courses at the Higher Institute of Arts, Havana, and at the Rene Portocarrero Silkscreen Workshop, Havana. His works have been exhibited in many countries. He took part in Drawing ´93, the international Drawing Biennial at the Middlesbrough Fine Arts Museum, Cleveland, and has taken part in three editions Halls of Contemporary Cuban Art (1995, 1998, 2001).

ARTURO MONTOTO (La Habana, 1953)
Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte, La Habana y por el Instituto Estatal de Artes V.I. Súrikov en Moscú con el grado de Master de las artes visuales en Pintura Mural. Ha expuesto en numerosos países. En el 2000 obtuvo el Certificate of Appreciation (Latinamerican Art Association-Contemporary Artist Dictionary) por su contribución al desarrollo de la cultura hispana en Estados Unidos y en el 2001 el Diploma al Mérito Artístico en Cuba.
Graduated from the Higher Institute of Arts, Havana. He obtained his masters degree in mural painting from the State Institute of Arts V.I. Súrikov in Moscow. He has showed his works in many countries. In the year 2000 he was honored with the Certificate of Appreciation (Latin-American Art Association-Contemporary Artist Dictionary) for his contribution to the development of Spanish culture in the United States and in the year 2001 he was given the Diploma for Artistic Merit in Cuba.

ELSA MORA (Holguín, 1971)
Concluyó estudios en la Escuela Profesional de Artes Plásticas, Camagüey, en 1990. Sus obras han sido expuestas en diferentes espacios culturales y galerías de Argentina, los Estados Unidos, Japón, Italia, España, Ecuador, Chile, Inglaterra y Cuba. En 1999 le fue otorgada la beca UNESCO-ASCHBERG en el Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes de México.
Studied at the Professional School for Visual Arts, Camagüey, 1990. Has exhibited her work in different cultural spaces and galleries in Argentina, the United States, Japan, Italy, Spain, Ecuador, Chile, United Kingdom and Cuba. In 1999 obtained the UNESCO-ASCHBERG scholarship given by the National Fund for Arts and Culture from Mexico.

CIRENAICA MOREIRA (La Habana, 1969)
Graduada en 1992 por el Instituto Superior de Arte en la Facultad de Artes Escénicas en la especialidad de Actuación. Sus fotos han sido expuestas en México, los Estados Unidos, Portugal, Canadá, España, Israel y Cuba, han aparecido en publicaciones nacionales y extranjeras. Participó en ARCO 2003.
Graduated from the Superior Institute of Fine Arts, School of Theater Arts, 1992. Her photographs have been exhibited in Israel, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, the United States, Canada and Cuba and have been printed both in national and international publications, they have also appeared in numerous international publications. She took participated in the ARCOS Fair, Madrid, 2003.

JUAN MOREIRA (La Habana, 1938)
Graduado de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas de San Alejandro, La Habana, 1963. Obras suyas han sido expuestas en Estados Unidos, Canadá, Alemania, México, Chile, Rusia, entre otros países. En 1988 participó en la Bienal del Cairo, El Cairo; en 1994 en la 3ra Bienal Graphic Art Beograd´94, Belgrado y en 1995 en el Primer Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo, La Habana. En 1974 obtuvo Mención de Honor, 7ma Bienal de Pintura Kosice, Checoslovaquia y en 1988 recibió la Distinción por la Cultura Nacional, La Habana.
Graduated from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts, Havana, 1963. His works have been exhibited in the United States, Canada Germany, Mexico, Chile, and Russia. In 1988 he took part in the Cairo Biennial; in 1994 he took part in the 3rd Graphic Arts Biennial Beograd, Belgrade, and in 1995 in the first Hall of Contemporary Cuban Art, Havana. In 1974 he was awarded an honorable mention at the 7th Kosice Paint Biennial, Czechoslovakia, and in 1988 he received the National Distinction for National Culture awarded by the State Council of the Republic of Cuba.

LIBORIO NOVAL (La Habana, 1934)
Ha sido fotorreportero de importantes publicaciones periódicas. Ha obtenido numerosos premios y menciones en concursos nacionales e internacionales. Es fundador de la Unión de Periodistas de Cuba y de la Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba. Es miembro, además de la Organización Internacional de Periodistas y del Capítulo Cubano de la Organización Iberoamericana de Periodistas Especializados y Técnicos (AIPET). Recibió la Distinción por la Cultura Nacional, otorgada en 1997.
As a photojournalist he has worked with various Cuban newspapers. He is a member of the International Journalist Association, and the Cuban Chapter of the Hispanic-American Organization of Specialized Journalists and Technicians (AIPET). He is also a founding member of the Union of Artists and Writers of Cuba, and was awarded the Distinction for National Culture in 1997 by the State Council of the Republic of Cuba.

PEDRO PABLO OLIVA (Pinar del Río, 1949)
Graduado de la Escuela Nacional de Arte, La Habana, 1970. Su obra ha sido expuesta en numerosos países y subastada por las Casas Christie's y Sotheby's, así como las Subastas de Gary Nader. Ha participado en varias ediciones del Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo, de la Bienal de la Habana y de la Feria de ARCO en Madrid. Recibió en 1987 la Distinción por la Cultura Nacional otorgada por el Consejo de Estado de la República de Cuba y en 1994, la Medalla Alejo Carpentier. Desde 1998 financia el proyecto de la Casa-Taller Pedro Pablo Oliva y patrocina el Museo de Arte de Pinar del Río, MAPRI.
Graduated from the National School of Arts, Havana, 1970. His works have been exhibited in numerous countries and have been auctioned at Christie's, Sotheby's and at the Gary Nader Auction. He has taken part in various editions of the Contemporary Cuban Art Hall, the Havana Biennial and ARCO, Madrid. He was awarded in 1987 the Distinction for National Culture and in 1994 the Alejo Carpentier Medal. Since 1998 he has been financing the "Workshop-Home Pedro Pablo Oliva" and he is a sponsor of the Art Museum in his native Pinar del Rio.

RENÉ PEÑA (La Habana, 1957)
Graduado en Lengua Inglesa por el Instituto Superior de Lenguas Extranjeras, en 1983. Ha mostrado sus obras en España, México, Italia, Alemania, Dinamarca, Venezuela, Brasil, los Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Portugal, Canadá, Francia, Israel y Cuba. En el 2001 obtuvo el Primer Premio de Fotografía en la IV Bienal del Caribe, República Dominicana.
Graduated of English Language from the Higher Institute of Foreign Language, 1983. Has exhibited his work in Spain, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Venezuela, Brazil, the United States, Portugal, Canada, France, Israel and Cuba. In the year 2001 he was awarded First Prize at the IV Biennial of the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic.

MARTA MARÍA PÉREZ (La Habana, 1959)
Graduada por el Instituto Superior de Arte. Ha expuesto en diversos países de Europa y América. Obtuvo en 1997, el Premio Artista Revelación de la Feria de ARCO en Madrid, España; en el 2001 participó en el Project Room de la misma Feria y en Art Miami, Estados Unidos.
Graduated from the Higher Institute of Art, Havana, 1984. She has exhibited in numerous countries. She has taken part in the Havana Biennials of 1989 and 1991, at the 21st Sao Paulo Biennial, 1991 and at the second Hall of Contemporary Cuban Art, 1998. In 1997 she was nominated Revelation Artist at ARCO, Madrid, and in 2001 she took part in the Project Room at ARCO, and also exhibited in Art Miami, the United States.

EDUARDO PONJUÁN (Pinar del Río, Cuba, 1956)
Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) en 1983. Obras suyas han sido expuestas en numerosos países. Ha participado en varias ediciones de Feria de Arte Contemporáneo ARCO, Madrid, 1995, 1996 y 2003; en la V y VI de la Bienal de la Habana, 1994, 1997. Participó en el II Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo, La Habana, 1999. Fue becario del Ludwig Forum, Aachen de Alemania en 1996. Desde 1987 se desempeña como profesor de pintura en la Facultad de Artes Plásticas del ISA.

ÁNGEL RAMÍREZ (La Habana, 1954)
Estudió en el Instituto Superior de Arte. Sus obras han sido expuestas en Venezuela, Japón, Argentina, Chile, Alemania, España, Holanda y Brasil, entre otros países. Ha participado en diversas bienales como la de Grabado Latinoamericano y del Caribe, San Juan, Puerto Rico; la de Sao Paulo y La Habana. Obtuvo el Premio en la Bienal de Grabado Latinoamericano y del Caribe en 1988. Posee la Distinción por la Cultura Nacional.
Studied at the Higher Institute of Art. His works has been exhibited in Venezuela, Japan, Argentina, Chile, Germany, Spain, Holland, Brazil, India, Puerto Rico, Poland, United Kingdom and Cuba. He has taken part in the VII and VIII Biennials of Latin-American and Caribbean Engraving San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1986,1988; the XXI Biennial Sao Paulo, Brazil, 1991; Engraving and Print Fair Madrid, Spain and the Engraving Biennial San Juan, Puerto Rico, 2001. Among prizes and awards has received the Prize in the Latin American and Caribbean Engraving in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1988 and the Distinction for the National Culture in 1996.

SANDRA RAMOS (La Habana, 1969)
Graduada por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1993. Ha realizado exposiciones en Japón, México, Alemania, Holanda, Venezuela, Francia, España, Canadá, Finlandia, los Estados Unidos, Brasil, Inglaterra, Italia y Cuba. En 1999 participó en Art Miami y Art Chicago, en los Estados Unidos, en ese mismo año y en el 2001 en la Feria de ARCO, Madrid. Recibió en 1993, el Premio La Joven Estampa, convocado por la Casa de las Américas, de Cuba.

EDUARDO ROCA (CHOCO) (Santiago de Cuba, 1949)
Cursó estudios en la Escuela Nacional de Arte y en la Facultad de Artes y Letras de la Universidad de La Habana. Es miembro de la Asociación Internacional de Artistas Plásticos. Ha expuesto en numerosos países. En 1999 trabajó en el Brandywine Graphics Workshop de Filadelfia, Estados Unidos. Entre los premios que ha merecido se destaca el Gran Premio Trienal de Grabado de Kochi, Japón, en 1999.

FERNANDO RODRÍGUEZ (Matanzas, 1970)
Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1994. Ha expuesto en los Estados Unidos, Francia, España, Londres, Canadá, México, Jamaica, Alemania, Reino Unido, Suiza y Colombia. En 1999 fue artista en residencia en el Barbican Center de Londres, Reino Unido.
Studied at the Havana Higher Institute of Art. Has exhibited his work in the United States, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Germany, Sweden and Colombia. In 1999 was artist in Residence in the Barbican Center of London, the United Kingdom.

RENÉ FRANCISCO RODRÍGUEZ (Holguín, Cuba, 1960)
Cursó estudios en el Instituto Superior de Arte de La Habana. Ha expuesto en numerosos países. En 1999 participó en la 48 Bienal de Venecia y en varias ediciones de ARCO, Madrid y de la Bienal de la Habana. En el 2000 obtuvo el Doctorado Honorífico en Bellas Artes, otorgado por el Instituto de Arte de San Francisco, Estados Unidos. En ese mismo año, Premio UNESCO con Galería DUPP en la VI Bienal de La Habana. Actualmente trabaja como profesor del Instituto Superior de Arte.

RUBÉN RODRÍGUEZ (Matanzas, 1959)
Estudió en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas de La Habana. Su obra ha sido expuesta en España, Polonia, México, Francia, Canadá, Estados Unidos y Japón, entre otros países. En 1993, participó en la Bienal internacional de gráfica de Maastrich, Holanda. Fue fundador del taller de Serigrafía René Portocarrero. Actualmente se desempeña como profesor de grabado en el Instituto Superior de Arte en La Habana.
Studied at the National School of Fine Arts, Havana. His works have been exhibited in Spain, Poland, Mexico, France, Canada, the United States and Japan. In 1993 he took part in the International Graphic Arts Biennial, Maastrich, Holland. He is a founding member of the Silkscreen Workshop René Portocarrero. Currently he continues to paint and is an engraving teacher at the Higher Institute of Arts, Havana.

SANTIAGO RODRÍGUEZ OLAZÁBAL (La Habana, 1955)
Realizó estudios inconclusos en la Academia de San Alejandro. Sus obras han circulado por diferentes galerías de Italia, Holanda, España, Haití, Angola, Argelia, México, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Turquía, Hungría, Canadá, Bermudas, Dinamarca, Alemania, Sudáfrica, Austria, República Dominicana, Francia y Cuba.
Made several studies at the San Alejandro Academy, which did not finish. His work has been exhibited in different galleries of Italy, Holland, Spain, Haiti, Angola, Argelia, Mexico, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Turkish, Hungary, Canada, Bermudas, Denmark, Germany, SouthAfrica, Austria, Dominican Republic, France and Cuba.

LÁZARO SAAVEDRA (La Habana, 1964)
Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) en 1988. Ha realizado numerosas exposiciones. Participó en la III y VI Bienal de la Habana, 1989 y 1997. Ha obtenido importantes becas, entre ellas: artista residente en el Ludwig Forum para Arte Internacional, Aquisgran, Alemania, 1996; artista residente en el Museum City Fukuoka´ 98, Fukuoka, Japón; artista residente en el Laab de la Fundación Christoph Merian de Basel, Suiza, 2002. Actualmente se desempeña como profesor del ISA.

Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1994. Es miembro de la Asociación Internacional de Artistas Plásticos y de la red Internacional UNESCO-ASCHBERG. Ha expuesto en numerosos países y ha participado en las ediciones de 1997, 2001 y 2002 de la Feria de ARCO, Madrid; en las V, VI y VII Bienal de La Habana y en la Feria Art Chicago del 1999 y 2001 en Estados Unidos. Ha recibido, entre otros, el Premio del Museo Nacional de Cuba, IV Salón de Premiados, La Habana, 1992 y fue acogido como artista residente del Forum Ludwig, Achen, Alemania, en 1997.

ALFREDO SOSABRAVO (Sagua la Grande, Villa Clara, 1930)
Realizó estudios en la Escuela Anexa a la Academia San Alejandro. Sus obras han sido expuestas en numerosos países. Ha recibido la Medalla de Oro del XXXIV Concurso Internacional de Cerámica Contemporánea, Faenza, Italia, 1976; la Distinción por la Cultura Nacional, 1981; la Medalla Alejo Carpentier, 1988; la Orden Félix Varela, de Primer Grado, 1994 y el Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas, 1997.
Studied at the annex school of the San Alejandro Academy of Arts. He was the vice-president of the International Association of Fine Artists, Cuban section in 1996. he has exhibited in various countries. He has been the recipient of numerous awards like Gold Medal at the XXXIV International Competition of Contemporary Ceramics, Faenza, Italy, 1976; the Distinction for National Culture, 1981; Alejo Carpentier Medal 1988; the Order Félix Varela, 1994 and the National Fine Arts Award, 1997.

REINERIO TAMAYO (Niquero, 1968)
Graduado del Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) en 1992. Su obra ha sido expuesta en España, Puerto Rico, México, Holanda e Inglaterra entre otros países. Participó en las Ferias de ARCO de 1997 y 1998. Obtuvo en 1989, el Gran Premio Esopo de Oro en la IX Bienal Internacional del Humor y la Sátira en el Arte de Gabrovo, Bulgaria; en 1995, Mención en el Primer Salón de Arte Cubano Contemporáneo y en el 2001, el Primer Premio en el II Salón de Arte Erótico, La Habana. Actualmente vive y trabaja en España.

JOSÉ A. TOIRAC (Guantánamo, 1966)
Graduado por el Instituto Superior de Arte, en 1990. Ha expuesto en numerosos países. En 1989, recibió el Premio Especial a la mejor curaduría del año, otorgado por la Asociación Internacional de Críticos de Arte; compartió el Premio de curaduría 1998 por el proyecto Jao Moch. "Homenaje a Antonia Eiriz", La Habana. En el año 2000 fue becario del Institute for the Studies in the Arts y Arizona State University Art Museum, Tempe, Arizona y en el 2001 del Rhode Island School of Desing, Providence, Rhode Island y del Collegue of Fine Art University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky en los Estados Unidos.

In 2001 he was scholar at the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island and of the College of Fine Art, University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky.

En 1994 obtuvo el Primer Premio de Dibujo del Salón de la Ciudad, La Habana y en 1999 las becas de APT Studios, Inglaterra y del Fordsburg Artist's Studios, en Sudáfrica. En el 2002 participó en DAK´ ART BIENNALE DE L´ ART AFRICAIN CONTEMPORAIN, en Senegal y en el 2003, en la Feria de ARCO, Madrid.
